Painted Buntings - Most Colorful Songbird in North America!



Two new mature male Painted Buntings arrived recently. This is the first time this winter we've had two full-color males at the feeder at once - in past years there has been as many as 6 to 8.  The females and immature males are a jade or emerald green color - see them at:
