Father Screech Owl Catches Giant Sphinx Moth

Father Eastern Screech Owl is catching an interesting assortment of creatures to feed the only surviving owlet. I didn't know we had moths this big in the Backyard - I thought it was a bird when I first saw it hanging from his claws. I believe it is a variety of giant Sphinx Moth - it must have a wingspan of 4 to 5 inches. In any case the owlet is eating good!
