Crow Calling and Cawing! The Crow I call "The Big Cheese" is, I think, the leader of the small resident American Crow family I feed every morning up in the Mountains. He/She likes to sit at the tip top of the highest pine tree and call sometimes for 10 to 20 minutes. Unlike the Florida Fish Crow family these crows are a bit standoffish even though they wait for me to feed the every morning.

Fascinating Eastern Screech Owls have started hanging out at the Mountain Spring at night enjoying a very thorough bathing session. The presence of many Woodland Jumping Mice and other small rodents around the stream could make for dinner and a bath.
