Dracula Owl
Dracula Owl really just wants to be left all alone. Sometimes called transformer, shape-shifting or Dracula act the tiny Eastern Screech Owls of the Backyard are one of the very few small owl species that regularly do this "Concealing Postures" or the German word "Tarnstellung" to survive in a very hostile world. This is mother owl taking a break from the owlets in the nest box in a nearby tree and when observed or threatened they change their shape to be as narrow as possible and mimic a tree branch. This is why Screech Owls are so hard to spot in trees.
