Pine Siskins a member of the Finch Family often associated with goldfinches during migration descended on the deck this morning - about 40-50 of them so I knew in a few minutes I'd have them eating out of my hand! Sweet gregarious little birds they will usually return from their northward migration in October sometimes in huge numbers then they can cover my arms and legs. Really fun birds.
