Great Crested Flycatcher nesting in the Screech Owl Nest Box laid the fifth egg yesterday (4/30/14). The unusual low vocalizations she continues to make when she first enters the nest box remind me of the Screech Owls in the nest box and may be some kind of bonding with the eggs that the mother is accomplishing or just a habit like "humming" .
