Go Pros and similar action cams have superior quality, however they can only run a few hours - motion detection trail cams can be left in place for months, hours or days to document the action from wildlife to security concerns etc. day and night. Regular viewers of this channel know I have made dozens of fun trail camera videos over the years, but we are seeing new breakthroughs at this price point for the features and image quality.
