White Winged Dove Song

The White Winged Dove doesn't really sing "ooh ooh ooh" but rather "Who Cooks for You" somewhat similar to the Barred Owl, but at a lower volume and pitch. Dove songs and calls are often mistaken for owl sounds as they have a distinctly nasal quality. In fact much of the sound Doves make is through the nose - here is a great example of a Mourning Dove calling close up: https://youtu.be/3Km-jtXueTw
