Mother Screech Owl fooled me she has switched to the Woodpecker Nest Box and laid three eggs. I believe on March 5,7 and 9. She disappeared from the owl box and I though they had given up for some reason but I heard a noise from the woodpecker box and sure enough there she was! This box is a tight fit and doesn't have all the extra cameras I installed on the new box they used last year. That's OK I'm sure she has her reasons. So expect hatching to start around March 31st and fledging by the end of April.
I have not found the roosting spot of the male in the nearby tree, they are extremely hard to find as they blend in with the tree.
