It is always exciting to see a bobcat on the trail camera especially in the daytime in full color, but mostly these secretive cats are nocturnal. It is even more exciting to see these elusive cats in person, but few places offer the perfect habitat to thrive and avoid detection like the pine flatwood forests with incredibly dense saw palmetto thicket understories of coastal central and south Florida.
