The Snowy Egret with those wild yellow feet is one of my favorite birds. The Snowy Egret is a Species of Special Concern in Florida. They were almost extinct in Florida by the early part of the 20th century due to demand for their feathers for ladies hats and ornaments but have made a comeback.
