The three owlets are growing fast - basically small, medium and large owlets! Mother will stay in the nest box all day and soon will start perching above as the owlets grow fast and it starts to get crowded - then we will see the owlets most of the time. Father Red Morph Screech Owl perches in a nearby mango tree all day and then brings food during the night. When the owlets get bigger mother will spend more time out of the nest box at night and also hunt and bring food. This is a new owl house and HD camera in a new location that is shaded all day long so the owls don't suffer so much from the heat.
