Eastern Wood PeWee

The eastern wood-pewee is a small olive-brown tyrant flycatcher that is hard to film as it hunts small insects from perches high in mostly deciduous trees. This is the first time I got one on video and they were 20 to 60 feet high in trees at the edge of an opening, their favorite habitat. They are not called Peewee's because they are small, but because their sweet high-pitched calls sound like peewee. Filmed with Canon SX70HS on Amazon at: https://amzn.to/2QftDPd Commission Earned.
