This is the first white-eyed vireo I've captured on film. A small and secretive bird of shrubby areas of the eastern and southern United States, the White-eyed Vireo is a full-time resident of the Florida peninsula, but is more often heard than seen. They prefer heavy cover not unlike the Painted Buntings.
